On October 3-5, 2002, the City of Fort Wayne will be hosting the Regional Neighborhood Network Conference (RNNC). RNNC is a collaboration of neighborhood leaders providing guidance and education through seminars, workshops and trade show.

The conference will be held at the Grand Wayne Convention Center and nearly 500 delegates from 19 communities in our region will attend workshops and presentations on the following subjects that revolve around the theme "Revitalizing Neighborhoods and Networking Communities":

Asset Development for the Neighborhood

Resources for Promoting Your Neighborhood

Funding Neighborhood Initiatives

Housing Initiatives and Community Development

Community Oriented Policing

This comprehensive event will target all audiences and offers an excellent opportunity to network with neighborhood representatives from around the region. You are encouraged to bring information to share and an open mind ready to learn!

Registration space is still available. The fee is $99, which includes meals, t-shirt, welcome packets, workshops and conference materials. If you are interested in attending, please call 427-1111 by October 1, 2002 for further registration information.

The City can also use additional volunteers or "City Ambassadors" to help host the conference. If you would like to volunteer your time and your talent, please call 427-1111.

Your cooperation, commitment and spirit is what makes the City of Fort Wayne a great place to live, work or play.
